Terms and Conditions

Please read the following carefully. Your use of the 4thofjuly.co.uk web site and purchase of the products on it means that you agree to these terms and conditions.

The price for each Product is shown clearly on 4thofjuly.co.uk and includes V.A.T at 20% (where applicable). We try to ensure that the prices on 4thofjuly.co.uk are always accurate but occasionally errors may occur.  If we discover an error in the price of a product we will amend it immediately. If however your order contains an incorrectly priced item we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supplied. We will then give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to reach you we will treat the order as cancelled.

Prices on 4thofjuly.co.uk are in UK pounds. If you are outside the UK your credit card company should exchange the amount charged to the currency of your country at the current rate. Please note that both charges and refunds are in UK pounds and American Imports Ltd cannot be held responsible for loss due to any exchange rate fluctuations.  Non-EU customers are responsible for Import Duty Tax in their respective countries.  Unfortunately we are unable to advise you what these costs will be. Your local customs office will provide more information.

Payment

All orders must be paid for before it is delivered and you can do so by debit credit card, cheque postal order or PayPal.  We will process your debit/credit card payment when your parcel is ready to be dispatched.  Any items out of stock will be charged for at the same time but a refund will be issued if we are unable to fulfil your order within a reasonable amount of time.  You may wish to pay by Cheque or Postal Order (UK orders only). Please make payable to American Imports Ltd and remember to include a print out of your order or a covering letter detailing your order, contact details and delivery address.  Orders will be dispatched once payment clears.

Postage & Delivery
Our postal prices are for UK mainland only.  If you live in the Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands or Northern Ireland please contact us for postage costs.  If your goods cannot be delivered for any reason and are returned to www.4thofjuly.co.uk, the cost of the goods will be refunded in full less a £10.00 charge to cover postage, packing and administration at our discretion. If an order is returned as a result of a customer not collecting it from their local sorting office customers will be charged a shipping fee of £7.95 for us to redispatch the order.

Availability

We aim to keep 4thofjuly.co.uk as up to date as possible but cannot guarantee that a particular product will always be available.

Copyright and Trade Marks

The copyright in 4thofjuly.co.uk and the content of the website and pages relating to the 4thofjuly.co.uk web site is owned by or licensed to, American Imports Ltd ta 4thofjuly.co.uk unless otherwise specified and may not be used, copied or altered without our prior written consent. The copyright extends to the design, look and feel of 4thofjuly.co.uk and all photographs on it and its marketing materials.

Unwanted Products

If you no longer require the product please return it to us within 14 days with the dispatch note, having taken reasonable care of it and in an unused and unopened state complete with all packaging and we will refund you the price you paid for that product (excluding P & P).

We will make the refund by the same method used to place the original order within 30 days or earlier once we have inspected the returned item and are satisfied that it has been returned to us in the condition it was in when delivered to you. You will only have to pay for the return postage of the Products.

Faulty Products

We double check every item during the picking and packing process to ensure it is the correct item(s) ordered, it is not damaged and enough protective material is used to ensure they arrive in good condition. However, if a product arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, we will replace it or provide a full refund as appropriate.

Please e-mail us at enquiries@4thofjuly.co.uk within 3 days of receipt. We will then send you details on returning the item to us and occasionally a returns code. In these circumstances we will also pay you the cost of the return postage.  Please obtain a receipt and proof of posting certificate from your Post Office to enable us to process the refund for your return postage costs. You will be responsible for the returned item until it reaches us.
